Nikolaos Koutroumanis, is a Ph.D. student in department of Chemical Engineering at University of Patras. He received his BSc and his MSc from the Department of Materials Science of the University of Patras in 2012 and 2014, respectively. His MSc thesis was about “Characterization of high-strength carbon fiber”.

Asemina Toliza

Asemina Toliza obtained her diploma in Chemical Engineering in 1996 (Polytechnic School of University of Patras) with her Thesis entitled: "Polymer Fractionation in conjunction with the use of chromatographic methods".
During the Summer period before obtaining her degree, she was trained in industrial environment. She has worked both in University and Institutional research laboratories and in Industry. For almost five years, she worked as a research assistant at the Laboratory of “Transport Phenomena and Physicochemical Hydrodynamics” Chemical Eng. Department, University of Patras.

Konstantinia Papadimitriou

Dr. Papadimitriou D. Konstantinia is a Postdoc Fellow at FORTH/ICEHT since 2012. She has a BSc in Chemistry, a M.Sc. and a PhD in Polymer Science and Technology both from the Dept. of Chemisty, Advanced Polymers Hybrid Nanomaterials Research Laboratory, University of Patras. Her research was based on the synthesis and characterization of novel linear and cross-linked polymer electrolytes for use in High Temperature Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cells (HT-PEMFCs) under the supervision of Prof. J. K. Kallitsis.

Anastasios Manikas

Dr. Anastasios Manikas received her BSc. in Physics from the Department of Physics of the University of Patras, Greece in 2003, a M.Sc. and a PhD in Polymer Science and Technology from University of Patras in 2006 and 2011 respectively. He did 3 years post doctoral research in Italian Institute of Technology at Naples (Italy) focused on the development and the characterization of biosensors and biomaterials for ultra high molecular detection  and then he joined the group of Professor Galiotis working for the European project (Newspec) that deals with the New cost-effective and sustainable polyethylene based carbon fibres for volume market applications.
